Allyson will be attending the Ashland Faire with her brazier, in her medieval finery. Come talk to her about medieval cooking, living, and skills!
Colonial Foods, Spices, and Preferences Wilton Public and Gregg Free Library, 7 Forest Road, Wilton NH Tuesday, May 5 - 7pm Join Allyson Szabo for an evening exploring the foods, spices, and cooking styles enjoyed in colonial New England. Learn about food traditions of the pre-Revolutionary era, see spices and historic cookbooks from the 1700s, and sample an 18th-century dish. Recipes will be provided to take home.
New Hampshire Renaissance Faire May 9/10 & 16/17, 2026
Allyson will be working at the NHRF, but won't be at the campsite much. You might find her popping in and out at the Brotherhood of the Arrow and Sword, though, so do stop by! The kitchen will be kept moving by Master Alex and other members, so check out what's cookin'!
The Original Rendezvous The Fort at No. 4, May 21-29
The Original Rendezvous returns to the Fort at No. 4, showing life on the road in the 1700s and 1800s. Allyson will be staying in the Fort, baking bread for sale to the travelers who are paused at the river's edge. Come see how people lived in the 1750s!
F&I War The Fort at No. 4, June 6, 7, 2026 Allyson will be camping with the Pequawket Alliance, portraying the French who allied with the Natives to fight against the British.
Colonial Cooking and Life Brookline Library, Brookline NH June 13, 2026 - 10:30am to 12:30pm
Allyson will be doing a cooking and Colonial life presentation at the library for all interested!
