2025 Events
The Fort at No. 4 - Women's Weekend & Work Weekend 267 Springfield Road, Charlestown, NH April 11-13, 2025 This is a private event at the Fort. The overnights will involve many historical reenactor women working together to teach and learn the various skills of the Fort's time period (1750s). If you are a woman and a Colonial era reenactor who is interested in this, email me and I will send you the private information!
The Great Egg Hunt @ Frank's Bargain Center 3607 Claremont Rd., Charlestown NH April 19, 2025, 11am to 3pm
Come enjoy a day with the family! Be sure to dress for the weather 🌞 The Egg Hunt will begin promptly at 11am. To ensure safety and fun for all, we plan to have areas sectioned off for appropriate age groups. Age range exceptions can be made where appropriate.

Earth Day Celebration Cathedral of the Pines, Rindge NH April 26, 2025, 10am - 4pm
Join Jaffrey and Rindge in celebrating Earth Day! Allyson will be set up at the Cathedral of the Pines all day, doing 18th century cooking demonstrations and talking about life before electric light, cars, and internet!
The Fort at No. 4 - Opening Weekend May 3/4, 2025
The official opening of the Fort for the 2025 season will be happening on May 3rd. Allyson will be there, along with many folk, to present life in a British fort in the 1750s. For more information, times, and dates of other Fort events, check out their website!

With spring, the NHRF arrives! This is Allyson's home faire, and always will be. NHRF is a non-profit that gives back to NH families through the NH Food Bank, Rockford Meals on Wheels, and other worthy charities.

While this is a private event that needs to be registered for (you can do that here if you're in New England!), Allyson will be interpreting at the Fort at No. 4 for the duration. Check with the Fort for more information on open hours!

Fort McClary 46 Pepperrell Rd, Maine (Kittery Point) June 14/15, 2025 The Fort will be open to the public, and Allyson will be camped with her beloved Pequawkets, displaying life during the French and Indian War. (Information available here.)

Maine Renaissance Faire Acton Fair Grounds July 19/20, July 26/27, & August 2/3
The Maine Ren Faire is back, for it's sixth year! Allyson will be there, cooking up a storm with the Brotherhood of the Arrow and Sword. Come on over and visit with us, and learn a bit about the history of armored combat, as well as cooking, weaving, sewing, and other medieval skills.
The Fort at No. 4 - Children's Weekend August 9/10, 2025
It's time to bring the kids to the Fort! We are all going to be child oriented at the Fort, this weekend. There will be militia signing and training, butter to make, clothes to wash, information to learn, and so much more! Hillsboro History Alive 44 Jones Rd., Hillsboro NH August 16/17, 10am to 3pm
The historical re-enactors return to Hillsboro for their 18th year! Civil War, Revolutionary War, French and Indian Wars have been our mainstays, but we have been expanding the timeline to include the Vikings, the Romans, a medieval group, WW1 and WW2, and the 1916 Punitive Expedition, and possibly more! Allyson will be there with the Pequawket Alliance, displaying the life of French folk following the armies skirmishing along the lines between New France and New England. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and free for kids.
